Avernis has spent years working through the large and small details of a lot of website projects, and have organised the process into a 10 simple steps that are designed to ensure your new website is what you want, when you want it.

So just what do you get when you work with Avernis?

1 - Proposal

Before getting started we’ll both sign a simple agreement outlining delivery date, payment terms, stages of delivery, support and training provided.

2 - Brief

We’ll then ask a series of questions covering your website objectives, brand, design and navigation requirements, photography or image requirements, enewsletter requirements, shopping cart needs (if you plan to sell online), key words you want to be found for and more.

3 - Site map

We’ll then develop a wireframe or sitemap to give you an overall picture of the navigation, page structure and content requirements.

4 - Design

We’ll give you two draft home page and secondary page design options for you to select from for approval before we start building. This would include enewsletter templates too.

5 - Build

We’ll then start building the site for periodic review and testing. This includes setting up shopping carts and payment procedures and any other add-ons you might want.

6 - Content

Writing good content is as critical as navigation and design. You can either do it yourself or outsource it to one of our web copy specialists.

7 - Testing

Once the site is built we’ll check all links, click through buttons, proof read copy, make sure the shopping cart and subscribe buttons are working and generally ensure anyone using the site is going to have a first class user experience.

8 - Training

Once the site is ready, we’ll give you training on how to upload content and keep the site fresh and maintained.

9 - Launch

We’re now ready to launch. Have a party and send your website link to everyone!

10 - Ongoing support

If you need ongoing support and want us to manage your site for you, we’re here to help for a small monthly fee.
